VCI papers and packaging
Complete range of VCI volatile anti-corrosion papers and packaging from the ACOBAL brand. This range is very technical and requires knowledge of the rules to be respected for optimized protection (up to 5 years).
Process
Certain chemical molecules have the property of emitting vapors which prevent metallic iron from passing into water in its oxidized form.
It is therefore sufficient to enclose the parts to be protected in the most airtight enclosure possible and to saturate the air inside the enclosure with these inhibitory molecules in the vapor phase. In the presence of these inhibitory vapors, condensed water and oxygen become harmless to the metal.
