DOWCLENE™ 1601 solvent based on modified alcohols
DOWCLENE™ 1601 is an effective solvent for oils and fats thanks to its lipophilic group. Thanks to its hydrophilic group it is also effective on polar substances.
DOWCLENE™ 1601 is perfectly suited to cleaning lapping oils, cutting oils as well as sintered metals. It was developed for use in hermetic vacuum cleaning equipment.
DOWCLENE™ 1611 solvent based on modified alcohols
In addition to its good degreasing properties, essential for solvent cleaning, the very strong polarity of the DOWCLENE™ 1611 allows it to be extremely effective in eliminating polar and bipolar dirt.
Solvent-based cleaning DOWCLENE™1611 suitable for both the removal of oils and greases as well as the removal of polar contaminants and particles.
DOWCLENE™ 1621 solvent based on modified alcohols
DOWCLENE™ 1621 is a solvent intended for immersion and vapor phase cleaning in hermetic vacuum installations.
DOWCLENE™ 1621 has excellent solubility of oils and fats and, thanks to its special formulation with hydrophilic components, is also very effective on polar dirt as well as salts and other emulsion residues.

MAXICHECK™ test kit for DOWCLENE™ solvents
To prevent the occurrence of corrosion, the solvent should be checked regularly. It is recommended to increase the frequency of checks, especially after process changes (changes in parameters such as oils, metals, etc.). MAXICHECK™ test kits for DOWCLENE™ range solvents are developed to indicate the presence and accumulation of harmful acids in the solvent.
MAXIBOOST™ solvent additive
MAXIBOOST™ additives have been specially developed to act against acids developed in hermetic cleaning systems using solvents from the DOWCLENE™ range. MAXIBOOST™ additives can also improve the cleaning quality of DOWCLENE™ range solvents for some specific contaminations that are difficult to remove from the metal surface.
